We did it! I think it was around 5:30pm or so.

THANK YOU everyone. You all rock.

Now, being Freshly Pressed and having the influx of views kind of, well, caught me with my pants down. But I have some sweet polkadot boxers on so don’t worry.

I’m not prepared with the photo, and I already have all the photos through Saturday planned and scheduled to post.

SO, come Sunday, I will post the special photo and the contest will begin!

In honor of this feat, however, you guys exclusively can use the coupon code MILLION at my SmugMug store to receive 25% off all merchandise. I’m not sharing the code anywhere else.

Thanks everyone! And there are still over 130 days left!!

Print Requests

I am planning on updating the SmugMug store with a new set of photos available this weekend. Since it’s for you – the people who keep my world going – I’d like to make you happy by offering the photos that you’d be interested in having. So, if there’s a photo from either Year 1, or this year you’d like – or even something from my non-LEGO photography that you don’t already see in the SmugMug store, please let me know. Remember it’s more than just prints – there are t-shirts, and other merchandise available as well!

Here’s how…

Just submit your choice(s) on the Formspring page. Let me know the a) Title (Day#), b) Year 1 or Year 2, c) brief description so I know I got the right one, d) title/or link/description if it is non-LEGO.

To see what’s already available, go here: SmugMug

Thanks everyone!

Prints & More Now Available!! (Updated)

Hey everyone!

I have great news! Prints & other merchandise are available from my SmugMug site.
You can find out more info by clicking the “Buy Prints” tab at the top of the blog.

Prints from [4 x 6] up to [20 x 30] are available on high quality paper, canvas, and more!
Cards, t-shirts, etc are all available too. I will hopefully be setting up a calendar in the near future.

I had my wife take a photo of me holding a [20 x 30] print we had made today. Check it out here! It came out so amazing!

Thank you so much for everyone’s support of these projects over the last 3 years!

::UPDATED INFO BELOW::

I had some questions regarding the prints from SmugMug.

The photo I had printed large as shown in the link above was printed on “lustre.” The print has excellent color saturation, without the fingerprint madness and glare of glossy. It kind of feels like a matte finish, but is better quality. The “metallic” prints have incredibly vivid colors. They are super sharp and really pop. They are some of the most popular types of printing now. The Giclee Watercolor uses super-duper quality ink on premium paper (the jump in price is quite high). I haven’t seen one personally, but I understand they look pretty magnificent.

If you’re having trouble deciding which to choose, my first suggestion is to choose what best fits your price range. The Lustre prints will still look excellent and will probably suit most folks. I love my test-prints and will be framing the [20 x 30] hiker one. If you’re looking for something more artsy – like the canvas, please just make sure you check the crops during checkout. The smaller wrapped canvas prints will cut out a significant part of the photo, so please choose carefully. But the other canvas selection do not crop everything. Play around with what you like.

I hope this helps a little!

Remember to check the crop during checkout for most photos! Click the picture/crop square on the left panel to customize the crop position.
