  8. I’m starting to get the impression that you like minifigure bases in models. Have you tried having them as the lid for 3×4 boxes?

    June 23, 2011 at 7:58 pm

    • I use them because I don’t have a lot of flat top pieces to use as a floor. Sometimes a knobby floor just doesn’t look right, so I got it as smooth looking as I could.

  12. I like this over most because it looks like proper old school lego, you can see the lines between the bricks and the old levers and everything are ace🙂 keep up the good work!

    • thanks Dave. Sometimes I hate that all I have are old, dirty bricks that don’t fit together very well – left over from my childhood – but then sometimes a photo comes out well because it just feels right. I’ll take it both ways!

  13. Dirty old LEGOs, are you kidding, every shot has perfect lighting and makes every single brick look fresh, shiny, new and at it’s best. You’ve taken care of your LEGO collection a lot better than I have, I’ve lost most of my favorite pieces. I’ve never seen a bad picture from you, or anything that looks old. Everything is high quality, and this is probably one of the most popular blogs I’ve ever commented on.

I love all your jokes and humor, and it’s so realistic that I can REALLY tell that is minor surgery.
