Vader was mad. Very mad. He had clearly said, “Wednesday is fun hat day.” TK-977 hadn’t been listening. He’d be on KP for at least a month.

Love the sombrero. Is there a story behind this series of photos?
March 16, 2011 at 11:36 am
No real story. Just thought originally it’d be funny to have all the Stormtroopers lined up for inspection with Vader and one of them having a goofy hat on.
Then I thought – wouldn’t it be even funnier if there was a series and each time one more Stormtrooper was wearing a new goofy hat.
This is the 3rd photo in that series :-)
Make sure you go back to the first two days to see the first 2!!

On and on…maybe Darth should have a hat at the end of this ‘series’!

I’m a newcomer and haven’t seen 67 or 114 but I just LOVE this pic. In fact I especially enjoy the ones with your pithy captions. Was sharing your blog around the office today and not a dry eye in the house. We were laughing so hard we never did get back to work.

HAHA I love it! Who needs work!
For an easier way to find 67 and 114, go to my flickr album here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rattleandhum/sets/72157624508311545/ and just hover over the thumbnails to find the day # – you’ll see!

Yay, I’ve been wondering when we’d see more Vader Hatters. I loved the first two.

A great upgrade on the hats.

Dan, Thanks for the flickr link. I poured through the first 115 photos this evening; tomorrow I’ll explore the rest. I bow to you, sir. You really are a genius.
Please know that I just “pressed” your site on mine. In particular, Day #94. I LOVE LOVE that pix. My mother, who passed away over a decade ago, loved to sew and seeing TK-788 and TR-114 among all those spools, well, kind of tugged at my heart strings. Of course, the caption made me fall out of my chair with peels of laughter.

Don’t forget there is a whole other year of 365 LEGO photos as well. This is my 2nd full year doing this after all.
You can browse through the archives here, or you can go to my Flickr again here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rattleandhum/collections/72157606821680529/ where all my LEGO sets are, and just goto the first LEGO365!
Personally I think this year’s photos are better, but there are a ton of great, hilarious, and fun shots in year 1 too.
Thanks for reblogging!!
