Day 203

Linwelin the elf froze. He sensed a presence. An evil presence. And it was watching him.

  1. Remember, though, that elf characters in post-Gygax modern fantasy never have just a first name. The (typically lame) last name invariably takes the form of “[NounVerb]er”. So Linwelin should have a last name like “Woodswalker”, or “Moonblader”, or “Shirestrider”.

Or, after the evil presence catches him, “Boxoccupier”.😉

Gygax ruined the Elven naming conventions explored by Tolkein. Linwelin works perfectly as an Elvish name assuming that the accent falls on the last syllable.

Where did you get the Elf mini figure?
