This cabin does not appear to have a very deep foundation.
Will you be posting more photos showing the different stages of construction?

This is very cool, but is ‘Hiker’ all done hiking? Say it isn’t so!
Can’t wait to see the progression of this cabin.
Hope Chainsaw is getting better. 🙂 My pups was under the weather the last week as well, though nothing as close to as severe as yours.

Well the Hiker is from East Tennessee, so we don’t use deep foundations here and laying the tile first in a common building practice, because it is so durable and it is difficult to get your fingers in the windows and doors to lay the floor.
