Day 165

I’ve had this boat for about 20 years. I’ve been wanting to use it in a shot since I started doing this 3 years ago. I’ve modified it a bit over the years, quite extensively actually before putting it back mostly to its stock build. I’ve never had the opportunity of a puddle, or a stream where I could use it. But, FINALLY!! It’s not an ice breaker, but it’ll do. The boat launch is a mod I did – it lifts up and swings back onto the deck.

It certainly looks like a scene from the Arctic or Antarctic!

So how deep WAS the water Or is that a parking lot?

    • it is the parking lot in front of my apartment. The snow melted a bit and the slush all gathered at the bottom of the hill, so it looked like a big ice flow on the arctic ocean – especially with the icebergs/flow in the background.
      it worked perfectly.
the boats are sitting on the ground, actually. so it wasn’t very deep, but gave a pretty good illusion.

  5. Love it. My son has and emergency rescue boat that we had a battery powered motor for – he had lots of fun with it and it still gets used by visiting children in the bath tub.
