I love the profound observations of your Inspector! Although if he turns the magnifying glass on himself he might discover that he doesn’t, in fact, have a retina!!
    Your photography is incredible.

  7. Hope people will actually donate money to the inspector when he’s blind. Anyway I didn’t tell you last time it would be awesome if you left a comment on my blog.

  13. This is a genuinely stunning photo – cant help but make you feel warm inside. Can I also ask, where did you get all your Lego mini figures? I have a substantial collection, but cannot find one with a magnifying glass (crucial for Sherlock holmes enactments)…

    • most of the minifigs i bought via various small sets either in stores or on the lego website. and i mean the cheap small sets that are between $5 and $20. some are harder to find in store and you have to look online.
the inspector character came from the lego minifig special edition figures volume 2, which was released earlier this year. you can find the set on the lego site.

  14. I love your site…as a mom who spent many hours playing lego with my boy (now 14), legos bring out such great memories. Your photos are excellent!

    Congrats on being freshly pressed!
