Great idea for a series! My coworker’s kids love LEGOS and I am wondering 2 things: 1. Will the series be child safe? So that I can pass your blog along and 2. Are you using ambient lighting for these shots? Or are you using strobes?

Um, I can’t say for sure if it will be 100% child safe, but I think 99% will be. I honestly can’t think of some awful thing I would think of for poor LEGO guys to be doing that would be inappropriate. And I don’t have strobes, so it’s all ambient light, and a little post work in Photoshop.
    Thanks for looking!

Looking at your Flickr address and this first photo, I see that you are a U2 fan (presumably).

Anyway, this is cool. I’ve also liked a lot of the YouTube videos out there involving LEGO parodies of various movies and music videos. It makes me feel young at heart.

I am a big U2 fan, yes. In fact one whatever day I did the spinning record, the record is The Joshua Tree 🙂

  9. I know not many don’t actually come and see your first work, and you might think it has been forgotten. I’m here ;D you are extremely talented and I love that even when I came back to the roots I’m still fascinated.
    Great work keep it up.
